APL COLOR delivered a personal color theory lecture and personalized one-on-one analysis at a Busandong Middle School staff training session. The visit came about after a science teacher at Busandong Middle School reviewed APL COLOR’s official blog and Instagram and made a direct request, saying the company “clearly has extensive experience and expertise from lecturing at various schools and organizations.”
At the science teacher’s request, the lecture was held in the school’s science lab. It made for an unusual combination, with personal color analysis taking place in a room lined with beakers and lab equipment. APL COLOR noted that its consultants each have at least five years of experience, allowing them to create an ideal analysis environment even in spaces other than a classroom or auditorium.
Before the analysis began in earnest, a theory lecture covered the basic concepts of personal color, warm and cool tones, and image. Staff members were then invited one at a time for a one-on-one analysis covering each person’s best and worst colors along with everyday styling tips, while a self-analysis tool set allowed participants to experiment on their own during the wait.
After the analysis, participants were guided through seasonal makeup, hair coloring, perfume, and accessory tips, and a pouch check reviewing each person’s own cosmetics was also conducted. Every participating staff member received a portable four-season color card and a custom perfume suited to their personal image.
