APL COLOR held a personal color and image-making healing lecture for parents at Choryang Elementary School in Dong-gu, Busan. The class was designed to give parents, who have had little chance to care for themselves amid child-rearing and daily life, a chance to rediscover the value and charm of “themselves.” A total of 15 people took part.
The class was held in the school’s science lab. For accurate analysis, the participating parents removed their existing makeup and focused on an opening lecture covering the basics of personal color theory, warm and cool tones, and the four-season types.
Once again, three veteran consultants took part, spending about an hour and a half on self-analysis kit feedback, one-on-one analysis, reviews of personal cosmetics with recommendations for new products, and checks of clothing colors in participants’ wardrobes. Practical guidance was provided on how to make use of both flattering and unflattering colors. Every participant received a four-season color card for comparing colors in everyday life and an image perfume. Building on this lecture, a personal color and image-making lecture for Choryang Elementary School staff is also planned.
