APL COLOR visited the Dongseo University campus to provide a body-frame analysis lecture and styling consultations for university students. Students from various years, many facing concerns about job preparation and everyday styling, took part.

The lecture addressed the students’ real concerns, such as “what to wear for interviews,” “styling feels difficult, so I end up dressing plainly,” and “how a date look should differ.” After a theory session on basic styling principles, students examined their own body frames and the items in their wardrobes.

The one-on-one consultations that followed analyzed shoulder and arm lines, upper- and lower-body proportions, pelvic shape, calf position, and volume. Rather than simply sorting participants into straight, wave, or natural types, the sessions highlighted the strengths and areas for improvement of each person’s body frame.

APL COLOR explained that body-frame analysis is not only about improving appearance but also a process of learning which clothes bring confidence, adding that it supports smarter spending by reducing unnecessary purchases and trial and error.
